WORLD HISTORY 7 students study Ancient World History from the Medieval Europe to the Age of Exploration as per the State Standards with a class text book and Common Core guidelines by using non-fiction, current event articles and scholarly magazine articles.  The History/Social Science curriculum integrates active learning experiences to expose students to ideas, issues, and events that link the past to the present and the future.  Geography, economics, social issues and political science are among the other major concepts taught in this course along with critical thinking essays and document based queries or essays as well as in-depth research.  Students learn information from a variety of teaching modalities such as web searches, creating student lessons to teach other students, MLA based research projects, art application activities and more.
