This video features students from Bill Young Middle School and Calipatria High School learning about astronomy and preparing for future learning experiences that will feature student projects in astrophotography.



The Calipatria Unified School District will be hosting an astronomy night that will be open to the entire Calipatria community. It will be a fun festive event featuring high powered telescopes in addition to music, food, robotics, games, virtual and augmented reality and arts & crafts activities. Event will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Calipatria High School's Erickson Gym.



We will have hotdogs and “Out of this World Lemonade” made by CHS Culinary Students at a first come, first serve basis.

Come be a part of this exciting moment as we unveil our brand-new courts that will serve as a great space for our students and community to stay active and enjoy the game. We look forward to seeing you there on Wednesday, August 4th at 5:30PM. Following immediately after the ceremony you will enjoy visiting your child's classroom for the 2024/25 school year

BYMS will be distributing yearbooks on Thursday, Friday, June 15, from 2-4pm and Friday, June 16, 2023 from 9:00 am - 4:00pm at the Library. For those who prepaid. There are limited extras.
